== Summary ==
From [http://sennalily.livejournal.com/29117.html the author]: "Freddie is the neurotic son of a famous opera singer; Robin is the laid-back son of Baron Wells of Woodcross. Can they put aside their history and turn around the disaster-ridden Woodcross Gilbert and Sullivan Society through a new production of ''The Pirates of Penzance''?"

From [http://mementis.livejournal.com/223270.html mementis.livejournal.com]: "The trials and tribulations of the Woodcross Gilbert and Sullivan Society and one Freddie Green, director of the WGSS, son of the late Richard Green, celebrated D'Oyly Carte tenor. Wherein Freddie must adjust for loss of funding, the re-appearance in his life of one Honourable Robin Lionel Coffrey Montgomery-Wells (former lover, largely responsible for said loss of funding) and still somehow put on this season's successful production of ''Iolanthe''. Well, maybe ''Iolanthe''. Or maybe something else but definitely not ''Pirates of Penzance''."

<BLOCKQUOTE>Freddie is the director of a struggling Gilbert & Sullivan stage company his father established years ago. His former lover Robin is the only son of a noble family, now an investment banker and expected to marry well. They're reunited when Freddie's company hits hard times and Robin uses his business acumen to try to bail them out. Sparks fly.<BR><BR>Freddie and Robin's relationship loosely parallels that of the main characters in Pirates of Penzance, which is of course the operatta they're producing. This is a really enjoyable romcom, the story doesn't unfold in a particularly surprising way but it's charming and I really liked the play within the play.</BLOCKQUOTE>

With the G&S company on the verge of ruin, Freddie reluctantly accepts Robin's offer of assistance. This has a fun story-within-a-story as Freddie and Robin's relationship kind of echoes their production of Pirates of Penzance and their overhaul of the company, out of the shadows of their respective fathers. The story itself unfolds pretty much exactly as you'd expect but in a really charming way.</BLOCKQUOTE>

A son of a baron and the son of a dead, famed theatre actor produce/direct The Pirates of Penzance and try to save an amature theatre company in the process. And they used to have ~a thing when they both when to Cambridge but class/nobility/daddy issues happen and it's a bit ridiculous because it is set in ACTUAL PRESENT DAY but I still liked it a lot a lot"
