*[https://www.pinboard.in/u:littlerhymes/b:6c709e2cf3e1 pinboard.in]: "When a Fairy Queen demands tribute from the people of London, Simon is chosen to be the sacrifice. He's a son of two magicians but has no magic himself; so his friend Rust insists on accompanying him into Fairy. Gorgeous writing and atmosphere, although some plot elements - though clever! - weren't quite successful imo. Very beautifully written Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell-esque story and beautiful art too."
