From [https://www.pinboard.in/u:savageneon/b:35af373dc1e0 pinboard.in]: "A eautiful fantasy story about a prince who went through a sacred ritual that made him hermaphrodite and also pregnant. His uncle tries to force him to kill the baby but he runs away with his loyal knight who give up everything for him. In running away to the priestesses temple the king forces him to do the duties of a priestess (serving bed partners), but in the end it all turns out all right. Touching really especially the parts where Rhys struggles with wanting the baby." This is a really engaging SF fic with a really well developed world. The characters are fantastic and while I was left with a need for a bit more resolution it was more that I got really into the story and wanted more."
