When I saw the theme, I immediately thought of my decade-old SSBB submission, titled The Perfect Fit https://www.shousetsubangbang.com/mirror/the-perfect-fit/. Everything about those characters worked for this issue!! Since they only exist in SSBB, I thought it would be fun to revisit them. | |||
This particular piece is meant to be a sequence of stills—a storyboard where dialogue exists, but is not revealed. If any captions cross your mind as you look at them, please share 💕. | |||
Although it may feel a bit dubious at first, I hope I was able to portray the unimpressed/knowing looks between them to show that that none of this is a surprise. | |||
What possessed me to draw 24 micro illos instead of 1 larger one?!?!?!?!?!?!? IDK!!! I like to match the labour and love that SSBB contributors, editors, mods, and all volunteers put into every issue and the community. You’re all the best! | |||

Creator's Notes
When I saw the theme, I immediately thought of my decade-old SSBB submission, titled The Perfect Fit https://www.shousetsubangbang.com/mirror/the-perfect-fit/. Everything about those characters worked for this issue!! Since they only exist in SSBB, I thought it would be fun to revisit them.
