Summary
Prince Arden was not supposed to be the heir to the throne. He was supposed to be the spare! He was prepared to be the spoiled second son, with the leeway that provided to, say, be just as interested in other men as he was in women. But Prince Arden's older brother abdicated, making Arden the heir to the throne, and putting all that pressure to get married squarely on Arden's shoulders.
