If by some chance you’re familiar with it, it should be clear that the basic premise of this story was lifted directly from the 1997 The Outer Limits episode of same name. I’ve gone in some very different directions with the details, however. Still, I owe a shout out to the original, which has lived in my brain rent-free for almost fifteen years now. If by some chance you’re familiar with it, it should be clear that the basic premise of this story was lifted directly from the 1997 The Outer Limits episode of same name. I’ve gone in some very different directions with the details, however. Still, I owe a shout out to the original, which has lived in my brain rent-free for almost fifteen years now.
