This is a beautifully written, deeply moving story that just grabs your heartstrings and pulls, pulls, pulls to the breaking point. Kim Chee's character development makes you feel both the tenderness and alienation between father and son. As I read this, I couldn't decide who is monster and who is victim. You'll know by the end, but the imagery Kim Chee paints will make you second guess yourself. Keelain's illustration is fabulous. You've got to read this!</BLOCKQUOTE> | |||
