Summary

Martinet's Halloween seems like a bust up until they meet a striking woman up to something on their walk home. When they decide to get involved, they wind up bargaining for more than they'd hoped to get out of their night.

Author's Notes

Despite the issue, this one's pretty light fare unless banging an eldritch horror is a dealbreaker for you. We've got a spooky side dimension, some bargaining with unknowable powers, one tipsy and irreverant protagonist, and a nice little F/F?/NB threesome.

Mostly I'm just happy it's a finished story. I started it for last Halloween, and only came back to it this year after two other stories I started for this issue refused to cooperate. Really hoping that next year stops producing two extra projects for everyone one I finish! Thank you to my beloved beta reader, and W2 for both extra time and some solid suggestions as usual.

Fun bonus fact that didn't make it into the story: Martinet named themself after the type of small whip/flogger, probably from an early kink experience. Originally they were going to be carrying one themself, but with the way the story wound up there really was no reason for them to have it.
