The story follows them working together as a team and also trying to figure out what the readers know from the very first tension-filled glare: Oh, just go bang already! The dynamic really works here because the will they?/won't they? is front and center as Tory and Jaime get to know each other. Volleyball is a big part of the story, but it doesn't get in the way of the romance. And the first kiss is so great and actually more satisfying than the sex scene, if you can believe that. Loveonthefarm really makes you wait for it, which is something I am a fan of. I have found that the minute I get what I think I want in a story is the minute I lose interest. So authors who don't give me the first kiss for ages have me hook, line, and sinker. So, yeah, this one was right up my alley. It also had awsome illustration by cloven."
