Broken Bridge
From Shousetsu Bang*Bang Wiki
Broken Bridge is a story written by Hiwaru Kibi. It ran in Issue 50 at http://s2b2.livejournal.com/286291.html, and is mirrored at http://www.shousetsubangbang.com/mirror/broken-bridge/.
Summary
Set in 2005. A young man who served in Iraq and his new boyfriend have a disastrous third date and a better fourth one.
From fairyninjas.wordpress.com: "A more lighthearted tale of a man and his new soldier …guy, who suffers from PTSD. Also very heartwarming at the end, though realistic."
Author's Notes
The author actually knows someone whose nose suffered a similar fate. The real-life breaker and break-ee are currently living happily ever after, too, so there's hope for Deshawn and Kellan yet.
