Author's Notes

I'm a librarian. This conference is set in the present day, but I'm using my memory of a certain library conference, held at this particular resort hotel, about a decade ago. (The resort hotel I'm talking about was damaged by flooding some years later, but this is the Nashville-didn't-get-those-floods alternate universe, I guess.) I've stayed at the smaller hotel with the pool in the atrium, and eaten at that Cracker Barrel. I did not hook up at that conference. If you did, I don't want to know.
