The Wikipedia explanation of the phrase Sic Transit Gloria Mundi is probably about as enlightening as it gets. Suffice it to say that I decided to Do It Wrong with this theme, then was hamstrung by the fact that I neither know nor have any burning desire to learn anything in-depth about Elvis.
