Summary

Miao-Fei was a firm believer in preparation over superstition where most of her life was concerned: scientifically understanding temperature and tension was how she kept timpani and keyboards in tune even in muggy auditoriums, and her ability to deploy myriad minute adjustments on the fly set her apart from the inexperienced and unanalytical. But she also liked saying hello to the Wonder Woman figurines on display in the back room of Ambition.
